စစ်ကိုင်းတက္ကသိုလ်ကို ၂၀၁၂ ခုနှစ် ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ(၁၁)ရက်နေ့မှာ နိုင်ငံတော်သမ္မတကြီး၊ ဒုတိယသမ္မတကြီး နဲ့ နိုင်ငံတော်အကြီးအကဲများကိုယ်တိုင်လာရောက်ဖွင့်လှစ်ပေးခဲ့ပြီး တရားဝင် ခွင့်ပြုအမိန့်စာကို ၂၀၁၂ ခုနှစ် မတ်လ(၉)ရက်နေ့မှာ ထုတ်ပြန်ပေးပို့ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ စစ်ကိုင်းခရိုင် အတွင်းမှ လူငယ်များ အဆင့်မြင့်ပညာများကို အခက်အခဲမရှိ ဆက်လက်သင်ကြားနိုင်ရေးကို ရည်ရွယ်ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး တွေးခေါ်မြော်မြင်ဉာဏ်နှင့်ပြည့်စုံပြီး တီထွင်ဖန်တီး နိုင်သည့် အသိပညာရှင်၊ အတတ်ပညာရှင်၊ နိုင်ငံ့သားကောင်း လူသားအရင်းအမြစ်များ မွေးထုတ်ပေးသော တက္ကသိုလ်ဖြစ်ရန် စစ်ကိုင်းတက္ကသိုလ်က ကြိုးစားလျက်ရှိပါတယ်။

Established in 2012, Sagaing University stands as the premier arts and science institution in Sagaing District, nurturing young minds with knowledge, creativity, and moral values.
Leading Light of Sagaing District
Sagaing University was officially established on March 9, 2012, and opened its doors to students from Sagaing Township, Myinmu Township, and Myaung Township. Starting with over 900 students in ten subjects, we have grown to offer 13 specialization subjects across Arts and Science disciplines.
Our lush green campus spans more than 300 acres, providing an ideal environment for learning, research, and personal development. With modern facilities including 12 academic buildings, administrative offices, a library, gymnasium, and student dormitories, we support our students in achieving their academic aspirations.
Beyond traditional classroom education, we actively engage in community service, research initiatives, and cultural preservation, making significant contributions to the region's educational and social development.
